The Harding Story

After 32 years in the fire protection industry, many in top-level corporate positions, Paul Harding started Harding Fire Protection in 1990 because it was obvious to him that the interests of the customer were not the primary concern of the vast majority of contractors and suppliers.

First, he named the company "Harding Fire Protection" as his personal guarantee of his responsibility for the organization.

Second, he put in place the requirement that all personnel working with or for Harding Fire Protection will be fully trained experts working full-time in the respective trades chosen for their expertise.

Third, but not by any means the least important, all personnel must interact with the customer so they know that Harding Fire Protection does care. All questions and concerns are answered immediately and trade secrets will not be retained to the detriment of customers. Harding Fire Protection sincerely wants customers to understand (if they wish) all aspects of their equipment and requirements.

The technicians are at all times cognizant of the fact that they are in your home and under your rules and regulations, not just there to order about or require your personnel to do work. Harding Fire Protection feels as a company that customers are associates and, as such, are treated accordingly.

All personnel will make themselves available at any time to take care of, show, describe, demonstrate or pass on any knowledge that is valuable to customers. This enthusiasm for and knowledge of their area of expertise is then demonstrated by their willingness to convey this knowledge to anyone who requests or is required to know how things work.
